We do not tolerate any form of discrimination against other users or the islanders. That includes, but is not limited to – discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and religion

NO EXCESSIVE HOSTILITY

Posts and comments with abusive language, personal attacks, threats and name calling targeting specific users and islanders will be removed.

REPETITIVE OR LOW EFFORT POSTS

Posts should be designed to generate discussion, and it must explain its purpose. Submissions without a clear purpose or message – specially with the intent of rage baiting – will be removed.

Posts requesting or sharing low-stakes information/opinions should be submitted as a comment on the Discussion Thread pinned on top of the main page of the sub.

Repetitive / low effort posts will be removed at mods’ discretion. Please use the search bar to ensure your submission is not a repost.

OFF TOPIC

Contributions unrelated to Love Island and its contestants; or that derail existing discussion will be removed. Please keep meta posts to a minimum.

NO BACKSEAT MODERATING

Do not imply, tell, or berate other users regarding what they can or cannot post. Do not tell mods what content should or should not be allowed and who should or should not be banned.

Meta commentary regarding the purpose of the sub is considered a violation of community rules. If you see any behavior that violates the sub rules, please report it.

NO POLICING OF DISCOURSE / STAN CULTURE

This sub allows for both positive and critical discussion of all islanders. Policing of discourse and excessive stan or vitriolic behaviour is not allowed.

NO SPOILERS

Posts containing spoilers or likely to contain spoilers in the comments must be appropriately tagged. Submissions containing spoilers in the title will not be approved. Posts that are tagged as spoilers by mods and have its tag removed by OP will be removed. Comments that break this rule in No Spoiler live discussion threads will be taken down by mods.

This rule applies to any information and event aired in an episode and up to 24 hours following airtime.
