No major spoilers in post titles for 24 hours

Any major spoilers should be kept out of the title for up to 24 hours. This is necessary as many will not have seen the episode live, and we do not want to ruin the episode for them. Major spoilers are considered to be the results of a recoupling (i.e. who gets dumped), major twists and unexpected events. No spoiler comments in non-spoiler threads.

No duplicate posts or common reposts

Duplicate posts covering the same topic will be removed, e.g. recent news stories or events in the villa. Common reposts include: Rate the seasons, what season should I watch next, should I keep watching series X? Requests for ways to watch the show outside the UK should be kept in the Megathread. Please use the search bar to check for recent similar posts before posting

No bullying or harmful language towards islanders, other users or anyone else

It's easy to get heated about who your favourite and least favourite islanders are, or even fellow r/LoveIslandTV users, but there is always an appropriate way to share your opinions. In the spirit of Reddit, please remember the human and lets be nice to each other. No racism/sexism/homophobia or any other bigotry. No body shaming or mean comments about peoples' natural appearance. No excessive vulgarity/sexualisation. No harassment via DMs.

Posts should be related to Love Island UK

Posts should relate to the UK version of Love Island. For other Love Island subs, please refer to the side bar. Any off-topic posts will be removed.

Links to articles or videos should offer new info

Links to news articles and videos should focus on new developments related to the show since the episode, and should not offer a recap of events that have already happened. Note that all links, including screenshots, to The S*n & Daily Mail are banned - please find alternate news sources.

No jokes or offensive comments about suicide

This sub takes a zero tolerance approach to jokes or offensive comments about suicide, and breaking this rule will result in an immediate ban.

No Low Effort Posts

Low Effort Posts include: posts that should have been a comment, posts that should have been a modmail, posts that are very short, posts with bad titles e.g. one word title, or title is just the islander's name.

Low effort posts may be better suited as comments on the discussion/daily chat threads. There is a bit of leeway with meme posts.

Ban evasion or account created solely/predominantly for the purpose of disparaging islanders

Any account created solely or predominantly for the purpose of disparaging islanders will be permanently banned

Accounts that are flagged for ban evasion by reddit will be banned. Contact reddit admins if you believe this is an error.

No armchair diagnostics

It is not appropriate to "diagnose" any islander based on a highly edited television program. Terms such as narcissist, gaslighter, sociopath, psychopath, and speculation about personality disorders are not allowed. Speculation about neurodivergence is also not allowed unless specifically addressed by that islander.
