Content Relevance

Posts that are submitted should be relevant to Thomas & Friends. Off-topic content (discussions about real life engines, railways, other shows, or anything else not centered around Thomas & Friends) will be removed. Those topics are better suited for other subreddits.

Post Formatting (Titles, Images & Links)

• Post titles should accurately describe the post, and shouldn't be confusing, misleading or random.
• All images should directly relate to the title or text of your post. Irrelevant, confusing, or misleading visuals may be removed.
• When sharing an X/Twitter link, you must also include an image or screenshot, as Reddit often doesn’t show previews for X links, making posts harder to see and understand without one.

No Spamming

Spam includes:

• Repeatedly posting old content for the purpose of rapidly gaining karma
• Repeatedly posting unrelated/off-topic/link-farmed content.
• Mass-tagging other redditors or sending large amounts of unsolicited chats/private messages (DMs).
• Mass-posting repetitive content for the purpose of exposure or financial gain.
• Excessive self-promotion, link-dropping, or flooding the subreddit.

Low Quality Posts

• Posts must add meaningful value to discussion.
• Low-effort, vague, or repetitive content may be removed. This includes one-line opinions without explanation, recycled topics, or posts lacking context.
• When sharing opinions or critiques, provide clear reasoning to encourage discussion.

Repetitive Topics

Topics that have been posted frequently or very recently may be limited or removed. This helps prevent the subreddit from being flooded with the same discussions. If needed, some topics may be redirected to pinned megathreads or simply be allowed at moderator discretion.

No Inappropriate Content

No explicit or inappropriate content. This includes pornography, nudity, gore, graphic injury, or shock material. Violations may result in immediate post removal and likely perma ban.

No AI-Generated Images / Videos

AI-generated images & videos is not allowed. This includes:

• Content made with tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, DALL·E, Midjourney, Craiyon, etc.
• AI-generated memes or characters
• Screenshots of anyone's AI content, even for parody usage or criticism

Please report AI content, but, do not insult the user. If you respond rudely to someone who posts AI, you may receive temporary bans for violating Rule 1.

Character Shipping & Hotness Rankings are Prohibited

We do not allow content related to "shipping" or romantic relationships between characters. This includes fan art, fanfiction, discussions, or any content that implies or promotes romantic pairings between characters.

Self Promotion

Self-promotion is allowed if done reasonably. Follow Reddit’s 9:1 rule—only 1 out of every 10 of your posts should be your own content. Stay active in the community if you're promoting your work.

Drama/Complaints

• Please send any complaints about issues you might have with users and/or moderators to the subreddit modmail.
• Do not bring drama or other conflicts from other subreddits, servers, or other social media platforms into this subreddit community.
• Do not post someone else's artwork with the intent of bashing their art.

Cite Sources

Give credit to artists or creators when sharing fanworks. If the original source can’t be found, that’s okay—but taking credit for someone else’s work will not be tolerated.
