You’re responsible for what you post. Don’t post illegal stuff, threats, harassment, or anything that breaks the rules.

No abusing the platform. Don’t spam, cheat, manipulate votes, or use bots in harmful ways.

Treat your fellow Star Trek fans with respect and kindness.

All opinions are welcome—positive or negative—but keep it civil. Debate the episodes, writing, production, and characters, not each other. No insults, harassment, or personal attacks. Argue the show, not the fans.

No brigading, raiding, or harassment of other communities.

Yeah, we get it. You were probably banned somewhere else for something relatively innocous. Consider the conduct that led to that, and let's not bring that here. Wipe the slate clean, only dicuss what happens here.

No bigotry.

This really goes back to rule 2. Let's not be anti-anyone here, regardless of race, gender, orientation, body size, etc...

No trolling or harassment of users.

Post inflammatory stuff elsewhere.

Wheaton's Law

Don't be a dick, or you'll get labeled as a troll.

Don't abuse the reporting feature for petty differences.

Too many people are reporting others for things like "bigotry" and "Wheaton's Law" over things that aren't directed at anyone or even about anything.

Sharing Trek-related articles across the webiverse is primarily what this sub's content has become. But don’t copy/paste full articles as a post. If you post a snippet or quote, keep it brief, name the author/source, and include a direct link to the original. Don’t claim someone else’s work as your own or post the full article without their permission.

Negativity is fine.

Don't make it personal towards any other commentors. You can express your lament at the current state of trek, here. If someone says a negative opinion you don't like and you choose to engage with it, be civil.

Sometimes people like things. You can express your elation at the current state of trek, here. If someone says a postitive opinion you don't like and you choose to engage with it, be civil.

Tag spoilers as such to avoid ruining things for people invested in watching the shows.

Anything released in the last year should have a spoiler tag. After that, free reign.
