All Posts on this Subreddit must be Theories, and other post will be removed.
Any and all posts on this subreddit must be theories of some kind. For example, films, tv shows, conspiracies, the world etc. Speculation is also okay.
Meta Posts are also Allowed, however, only for Significant Purposes.
Meta posts are posts based on the subreddit itself. They are usually questions, however, other information is also posted.
Feel free to direct message us instead, however, meta posts are okay. They are NOT encouraged, but they are allowed.
All Theories Must Include Evidence in order to Support the Theory.
Any and all posts must include some-kind of evidence to back them up/support them.
Any post that does not include evidence, will be removed by one of our Moderators.
Spoilers Must be Pointed Out in the Title or Flaired.
All posts that include spoilers must either use the word 'SPOILER' in the title or use the 'Spoiler' flair.
Any post that does not spoiler-tag will be removed by one of our Moderators as soon as they can.
Spoilers in theories usually happen when the theory is about a film, or TV show. The Mod Team consider anything from films and TV shows seasons that have came out in the past year to be spoilers. Any older than one year, are okay and not considered as spoilers.
No Low Effort Posts.
Low effort posts are posts that are either just a title or one paragraph of length.
Any low effort posts will be removed by one of our Moderators.
Any Unoriginal Theories Need to Credit the Original Owner.
Any theories posted that are unoriginal/written by someone else need to be credit the original writer somewhere in either the post or title.
Any unaccredited theories will be removed by one of our Moderators.
Do not Down-Vote any Post/Theory without Commenting why You Have Done So.
This was a rule that was created by the previous Mods of r/Theories of which I quite liked.
What this rule means is that if you disagree with a Theory or dislike it for some reason, you must comment why instead of just down-voting it. This helps the creators know why their post might not have done as well as they had hoped, and how they can do better in the future.
Any and all Theories Must not use Foul Language.
Any and all posts must not use any kind of foul language.
This rules simply means that no cuss words, racist remarks, or offensive remarks are allowed to be used in any post/theory.
