Posts MUST pertain to ENTERPRISE level IT data storage only. Submissions about consumer grade NAS devices, home PC storage, external HDDs, etc are prohibited unless highly technical.
Submissions about enterprise level storage (both hardware and software) in a home lab type environments are welcome so long as they show effort and will be relevant to IT data storage professionals. Reviews or news relating to home NAS devices, hard drives, or SD cards will be considered off topic and removed.
Low quality post or comment.
All posts must be of a high quality, and questions must show research effort on behalf of the requester, and discussion posts must bring something to the table.
Posts and comments must add value.
For example: Do not post link-spam to your favorite vendor's new product page without discussing it in your post.
Spam / Off topic post.
Submissions must relate to enterprise level IT data storage. For posts about your home NAS you might be better posting to /r/homelab or /r/datahoarder.
No personal blog submissions.
Don't post links to your personal storage/IT-related blog. Text posts referencing your blog are okay.

Do not post sponsored content. This includes blogs written by vendors, IT review websites, and links to resellers, integrators, or any other sort of advertising.
Sponsored content is disallowed as it is often biased towards a specific vendor.
