Offensive Remarks

Attribution

Always credit the original creator of any content you share, including art, videos, music, articles, and other media. When posting, make sure to provide the creator's name or a link to the source. Failure to properly attribute content may result in its removal. If you're the original creator, please review our rule on self-promotion.

This subreddit is for sharing real weather content. Posts featuring fully AI-generated content or content that is primarily created by AI tools are not allowed.

Do not post or share any personal information, including full names, addresses, or other identifying details of individuals, families, or private properties impacted by severe weather without consent. Ensure that any media shared is done so with respect for the privacy of those involved.

Weather Wishing

Posts or comments expressing a desire for severe weather to occur are strictly forbidden. Thunderstorms can be serious weather events with potentially devastating impacts, and such comments show a lack of sensitivity towards those affected.

While simply wishing for thunderstorms does not violate this rule, and many thunderstorms are not dangerous, please be respectful and mindful of the potential harm caused by severe weather.

Misinformation

Sharing accurate information is crucial, especially in a community focused on weather. Please ensure that the information you post is factual and reliable. Spreading misinformation, particularly about safety or ongoing events, is not allowed.

Spam

Spam of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, repetitive posts, excessive self-promotion, and content unrelated to the sub’s topic.

Advertising/Self-Promotion

Self-promotion/advertisement of products or services is prohibited without prior approval from the mod team.

Self-generated content (photos, videos, livestreams, etc.) is welcome and encouraged, permitted that it’s relevant and genuinely contributes to the community. Submissions should not spam the sub and should make an attempt to authentically engage with the community.

Promotion of OnlyFans, Fansly, or any other pornographic sites is not permitted.

Soliciting Upvotes

No posts or comments asking for upvotes. Post titles such as "Upvote for cool thunderstorm" or any other variation of titles requesting upvotes are also prohibited.

Mod Discretion

Mod discretion can be used to remove content that the mod team feels causes issues/problems/harm to the sub or it's users.
