Read our guidelines prior to posting
Please read the community guidelines wiki page and familiarize yourself with our rules prior to posting. All submissions must relate directly to Pokémon Unite.
Be respectful and follow Reddiquette
Please follow the Reddiquette by being civil and respectful at all times. Excessive flaming, toxicity, harassment, insults, derogatory/disallowed verbiage, posts/comments intended to incite drama and cause conflict, or rants and complaints that aren't constructive in nature will be removed. Suggestive posts and excessively adult themes are not allowed. Posts calling out other players or the usage of slurs will result in an automatic ban.
Tag posts with the correct flair
We have a wide variety of flairs available, and posts are required to be flaired prior to submission. Intentionally mislabeled posts may be removed at the discretion of the moderation team. Additional clarification can be sought via modmail prior to posting.
Use Megathreads when applicable
Please use the applicable Megathreads. We currently have Megathreads for Basic game questions and looking for players. Both Megathreads are typically pinned at the top of the subreddit. We also occasionally create new megathreads for events such as Pokémon releases, balance patches, or friend campaigns.
No low-quality or repetitive content
Low-effort content includes, but is not limited to: Repetitive memes/formats and media posts, questions easily or already answered with a simple search or that belong in a megathread, reposts, most tier lists, misinformation, bot match content, screenshots that don't contain new information or have relevant context, and common community questions (such as "Who is your main?" or "Who should they add to the roster?"). We are allowing the majority of low-effort content to be posted on the weekends.
No Screenshots (ex. scoreboards, team performances, getting a new champion or skin)
In order to ensure content diversity and allow new topics visibility, we do not allow screenshots including but not limited to: end-of-game scoreboards, team previews, team performance results, builds without an accompanying guide/explanation, common accomplishments such as global rankings or in-game rewards, damage taken results during respawn timers, or teammates' item builds. We are allowing most low-effort content to be posted on the weekends, not including those complaining about teammates.
No posts about getting to a certain rank
If the only purpose of your post is to share that you got to a specific rank or the story of how you got there, it will be removed. We are allowing the majority of low-effort content to be posted during the weekends, including these.
You are welcome to make a Guides & Tips post that actively contributes and references your rank for credibility. When doing so, things such as your winrate, number of games played, and typical party size (solo queue, 5 stack etc.) are helpful to provide context.
No spam posts or comments
Spam of any sort is not allowed. Content of this nature will be immediately removed by the moderators and violations of this rule will result in a temporary ban. Continued violations after a temporary ban will result in a permanent ban. This includes posts not related to Pokémon Unite. You can read more on some of what is considered spam here.
No discussion of unlicensed or TOS-breaking content
Do not request, post sources linking to, or post comments talking about unlicensed content, aggregation sites, or TOS-breaking content and services including but not limited to illegal streaming websites, disallowed programs (including emulators), cheats, boosting or account sharing, real-world currency transactions (buying or selling accounts), discussion of bugs or exploits granting a competitive advantage, etc. Violating this rule will often result in a ban.
Self-promoting content guidelines
Promotion of social accounts or products and services is not allowed. Clips have to be uploaded directly to Reddit; embedded clips from other platforms are not allowed, unless they may be appropriately tagged with the Guides and Tips flair. Keep watermarks (or functionally similar components) reasonable. Ignoring multiple removals under this rule will lead to a ban.
Credit the original artist or creator in post titles
If you are submitting fanart, comics, guides, memes, videos, or other media that you did not create, you MUST credit the original artist in the title of your submission as well as a link to one of their socials in a reply to the pinned Automod comment, if available. Posts without proper credit will be removed.
Leak Guidelines
Leaks always have to be posted with the Spoiler Tag and the title has to be as unrevealing as possible (Ex. "New Attacker leaked" instead of "Inteleon leaked"). We do not allow posts with leaked or unannounced Pokémon, features, mechanics, etc in titles. You must credit the original leaker in the title as well as the direct source in a comment. In comments of unrelated posts, please spoiler necessary parts of your comment.
This rule does not apply to content in the Public Test Servers.
