NSFW or sexually suggestive content is strictly prohibited. This includes: pornography (cropped or full), fetish content, sexual roleplay, explicit sexual comments, or lewd depictions of characters. Graphically or gratuitously violent content is not allowed. Do not post or link to extremely gory or shocking content.

Use the Correct Flair and Threads

Use each flair for its intended purpose (discussion, gameplay, team building, bug report, etc.). Moderators may remove posts that are off-topic for a given flair to keep things readable.

Follow server spoiler guidelines for events, tournament results, and new game content. Do not post untagged spoilers in threads where spoilers are not expected. Use Reddit's spoiler tag.

Follow Pokémon’s Terms – No Cheating or Hacking

All discussion must comply with Pokémon’s Terms of Use and Play! Pokémon rules.

Do not share, promote, or request tools/services that modify game data, inject Pokémon, or violate online play policies.

Discussion of creating or using illegitimately generated Pokémon, items, or accounts (including “genning” and similar methods) is prohibited.

Encouraging others to participate in hacking, distributing modified software, or other ToS-violating activity is also prohibited.

No Leaks, Datamines, or Confidential Info

Do not post or discuss unannounced content obtained from leaks, datamines, or other unauthorized sources.

Do not post doctored/fake “leaks” or use them to bait the subreddit.

Do not share confidential internal information, embargoed details, or private materials from events, TO tools, or Professor communications.

If you have access to sensitive information through official roles, you are expected to keep it confidential.

No Spam or Unapproved Advertising

Do not advertise your own or others’ content (YouTube, Twitch, coaching, merch, Discord servers, websites, tools, etc.) without prior moderator approval.

Joining solely to promote content or services will result in an instant ban.

Avoid post spam, copypasta, comment spam, and excessive tagging, especially of staff.

Privacy, Safety, and Off-Platform Conduct

Do not share anyone’s private or identifying information (doxxing) without explicit consent.

This subreddit treats the safety of minors seriously. Any predatory, grooming, or exploitative behavior will result in an immediate ban and may be escalated to Reddit and/or Pokémon’s support channels.

Serious misconduct in other Pokémon spaces (harassment, hate, predatory behavior, etc.) that directly impacts the safety and well-being of this community may result in action here as well.

Tournament & Competitive Etiquette

Follow tournament hosts’ rules and any relevant Play! Pokémon or Pokémon Champions tournament documents when participating in subreddit events.

Do not attempt to rule-lawyer, slow-play, or abuse procedures to gain an unfair advantage. Resolve mistakes honestly and open a ticket when needed.

Enforcement and Reporting

Moderators may remove content, or ban at their discretion to uphold these rules and the Spirit of the Game.

Severe or repeated violations can result in permanent removal from the subreddit and, where appropriate, escalation to Play! Pokémon’s official support channels.

If you experience or witness behavior that violates these rules, please report, open a Modmail, or tag a listed staff member with as much detail as possible.
