Post a picture, pictures or videos

All posts have to have a picture (one or more) or a video. Pictures or images are defined as being taken with a camera of some sort, and posted as a digital file. To clarify, if you took a picture with a film camera, and scanned it before posting, then it is a digital image.

Multiple posts of same image

Multiple posts of the same picture will be deleted. The OP will be given a warning via a comment to be wary and careful of repeat posts.

Subreddit for Pinoy Food pictures and Pinoys Posting food

If you're Pinoy, you are welcome to post. If the picture is a Pinoy food, your post is welcome. For example, a Pinoy posting a foreign food is welcome. A non-Filipino posting an adobo picture is welcome. An non-Pinoy posting a foreign food from outside the Philippines, will be taken down, and the OP banned.

Lifted picture

Pictures should be owned by the OP. They should have taken the picture with their camera (phone camera, DSLR, mirrorless, compact camera, etc.) AI generated images will be deleted, and the OP banned. If it is a drawing, or painting, this is not the right subreddit for the submission, and the post will be removed, and the OP banned.

Title format

For better appreciation of the post, the title should be in the following format: <food name>, <location>, and optional <camera details or settings>. Additionally, the should OP add more details, including the occasion or any other detail about the image, or unique detail about the food.

Criticisms and ranting

No ranting, venting, or criticism about the service or the food. This is not the subreddit for posting nagatives about the restaurant, or carinderia, or food item. This is not a food criticism sub. Food descriptions, your reaction and feelings about the food are welcome, but if it borders on bad mouthing an establishment, or the food itself, the post will be deleted, and the OP banned. Commercial pictures posted by the establishment will be removed, and the OP banned.

Not a food picture

Pictures of menus are not welcome. Pictures which do not show food will be removed, and the OP banned. You can post these at Google Maps, but not on this subreddit.

Only Original Content (OC) post will be allowed, moving forward

No more pictures grabbed from the Internet. Let's keep this sub free from karma-farmers. Do not repost your picture from this sub, to this sub as well. No recycle contents. Only Original Content (OC) moving forward.

Emphasis on AI-generated pics NOT allowed in the sub

It was posted under Lifted Images, but I'm not familiar with that term. So I emphasized it here.

I will review and make the rules easier to understand moving forward. Please refrain from posting AI-generated images.

Do not repost pictures from other sub-Reddits that is NOT yours

You may repost pictures from other Reddit subs but make sure the names of the poster is the same are yours. Otherwise, we would assume that you're reposting someone else's picture, which we discourage. The sub is only for Original Content (OC).

Self-Promotion is ALLOWED. PINAPAYAGAN in Filipino.

Provided you send us in the ModMail proof that you really own the IG, FB, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter or whatever socials you're promoting AND include at least 1 picture with no text or graphics.

We'll probably include a user flair that says something like: Verified Social Media account or something.

No texts or graphics on the photo. Post just the photo, as is.

No need to put caption on the photo itself like text or graphics. We feel that it just puts extra "drama" to the photo or extra attention. Please post just the photo -- nothing extra. Thank you.
