We want to see what you got! Please make sure you upload a picture or video showing your haul and your receipt. If possible, we encourage posting the itemized receipt as well. We can make some exceptions if the venue does not provide receipts but please try your best to provide proof of the price you paid.

Post the price of an item or the total trip to the store.

All posts must include a price so we can actually compare! Please specify the currency you used as well.

Keep it civil

We want our community to be a fun place there is no need to be rude treat everyone with respect.

DO NOT judge peoples shopping habits! Let people live their life how they want.

Include the country (or if applicable the state / province / territory) you purchased from

Prices vary wildly depending on region! Please don’t just say “the UK” or “the EU”.

The spirit of the rule is such that we want reasonably precise information about where the purchase was made.

Specify at least the state/province/first-level administrative division of the country. (E.g. "Scotland, UK", "Coimbra, Portugal").

Feel free to list your city/municipality instead, however this is not mandatory.

Keep it on brand! Only make posts about groceries.

English language required

All posts or top-level comments must include an English translation or be in English. Any posts/top-level comments that do not have English somewhere will be removed. Any intentional mistranslation will potentially result in a ban temporarily or permanently.

Refrain from political discussion

Let’s keep politics out of our discussions regarding groceries. There are plenty of other places on Reddit to fight over corrupt politicians acting for themselves not the average citizen, this is not the place.
