r/ExploitDev Subreddit Rules
Rule 0. Stop breaking the law
The /r/exploitdev community is one for law abiding security researchers. We will not tolerate or encourage any illegal activity.
Rule 1. Not your personal army
This is a community for learning, asking for help is fine but nobody wants to do your learning for you. Do not ask for someone to write an exploit or perform a hack on your behalf.
^(Dropping 0-days of course is encouraged)
Rule 2. Be awesome to each other
Exploit Development is hard, and attracts a certain kind of personality. But that doesn't excuse unprovoked hostility. Try to play nice.
Rule 3: No slop-posting
Posts about AI powered tools or workflows or anything generated with AI will be expected to be of a very high quality or face removal. This means you should include PoC code, a full writeup of the vulnerability and how it could be exploited, etc.
There are clear astroturfing campaigns ongoing on reddit for various AI enabled products as well as a flood of incredibly low-effort posts overhyping AI "discoveries" which amount to detection of usage of an unsafe function. These will be removed.
