Keep it Canadian. Only posts relevant to Canada are allowed. If there is no connection to Canada (i.e. influential in Canada) then your post will be removed.

Be civil and respectful

Please be respectful. We’re all here for a good laugh, not a glove drop. There’s no need to be name calling in the comment section of a Canadian syrup farming forum.

No Hate Speech or Harassment

Any and all discriminatory language will not be tolerated here. This includes; racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, and transphobia. If you wouldn’t say it in public, don’t say it here. Break this rule and you will be banned without warning.

No agenda pushing

No agenda pushing, this isn't the house of commons. We’re here for satirical memes, not manifestos. If your post isn’t trying to crack a joke it will be removed.

No AI art

Any posts with AI art in them will be removed.

No reposts/original content only

If you didn’t make it yourself, don’t post it here. Meme templates are allowed but try and use your noggin.

No low-effort posts

This means:

• screenshots of twitter posts, news articles, and reddit posts without your own contribution/edit
• posts of youtube videos that you did not make yourself
• posts that only have a funny title with no edit (unless it's REALLY funny)

Repetitive content

While we allow users to come up with meme templates of their own for the sub to make use of, don’t spam the same tired meme (e.g. PP verb the noun podium). If a trend overstays its welcome we will begin removing repeat posts of the meme. Try and come up with the next big thing instead.

User and post flairs

Every user must have a flair and every post must have a flair. Posts must be flaired correctly, all political content must use the politics flair. Failure to use flairs will result in your post/comment being removed and potentially a ban for repeat offenders.

Links

We currenty have a zero tolerance policy for links. all links will be removed by automod. this is to prevent malicious behaviour.

No screenshots/ comments of other subreddit names or usernames (Brigading)

As per reddit sitewide rules, this can be considered brigading and will not be tolerated. If you want to post an edit of another user's reddit post, remove the sub and user from the image first, or obtain permission from the user in question.

No spam or self-promo

No self-promotion. This sub isn’t your personal soap box. Do not promote your own sub, cause, or products here.

No politics on Sundays

Sunday is a politics free day. Any and all posts related to politics will be removed. Try posting it on another day.
