This is a sub for dinosaurs. It sounds super obvious, but we need to just come out and say it.

Posts with Dinosaurs may include non-Dinosaurs (such as Mammals, Mosasaurus, Anomalocaris, or Synapsids) in them as long as the Dinosaur is the main subject of the post.

Pterosaurs (such as Pterodactyls) are allowed. Other exceptions can be made for memes at moderator discretion.

A general consensus the overwhelming majority of users in this subreddit have agreed upon is that absolutely no AI content (whether it's a discussion or a generated image/video) is to be shared in this community. No exceptions.

Post Art on Weekends Only

Art posts are only allowed on Fridays through Sundays. This includes tattoo posts.

To account for timezone differences, posts will be given a 6-hour leeway.

For the other days, you can post in r/DinosaurDrawings.

Paleoart, 3D Art, Articles, Diagrams, & Scientific Illustrations are exceptions to this rule. Art will be categorized at moderator discretion.

No links to anything for sale and/or sale posts.

NSFW content contains violence, gore, pornography, illegal substances, profanity, nudity, slurs, or other potentially disturbing subject matter. Posts & comments will be removed at moderator's discretion.

This sub accepts contemporary, scientifically tested theories (ie. evolution), hypothesis & facts. Any material or claims found to be the contrary unless it is backed up with peer-reviewed evidence will be removed.

Hypothetical or speculative ideas are allowed, but must have some scientific reasoning & should be explained.
