r/AskVibecoders Subreddit Rules

1

Be helpful, not a jerk

This is a place for people who actually code with AI tools to help each other. Constructive criticism is encouraged, but gatekeeping, insults, and negative rants will get you banned. We're here to learn, not to argue and criticize each other, please be respectful.

2

Be relevant

Posts must relate to vibe coding, AI coding assistants, or developer workflows. If not they will be removed.

3

Sharing is encouraged ~ add context

Post about tools you use, post about projects you built, post comparisons, but you have to actually explain things and provide value. "I built X using Vibecodeapp + Claude, here's my workflow" is good. Dropping a link with no explanation is not. We're here to learn from real experiences, not read ads.

Violation reason: Sharing is encouraged as long as you add context
4

No low effort post

This community runs on quality contributions. Search before posting, if your question was asked this week, add to that thread instead. Questions like "What's the best tool?" without context (use case, tech stack, what you've tried) will be removed. And most important, don't post AI-generated walls of text, write like a human. We're here to help each other learn, not scroll through spam.

5

All skill levels are welcome

If someone asks a basic question, either help them or scroll past. "Just Google it" comments will be removed. No question is too simple, no experience level too low. We were all beginners once, and this community exists to help people learn, not to make them feel stupid for asking.

Here we worship no-code, AI magic, and the fine art of pretending we "program" by dragging blocks around. Remember: if it compiles, it’s coding. If it doesn’t… also coding
