Don't Spoil the Wordle (for ANY timezone).
Posts and comments shouldn't reveal ANYTHING about the current Wordle, in any time zone—EVEN IF YOU USE SPOILER TAGS, except in the appropriate Daily Thread. Violation of this rule will result in a minimum three day ban. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned.
Posts relating to older Wordles should still be spoiler tagged, and must include the Wordle number and/or date the spoiler applies to in the title. For example, a spoiler-tagged post titled [Title] (Wordle 196)" is acceptable.
Emoji grids belong in the Daily Wordle thread.
Please don't submit your Wordle results as a top-level post. There are Daily Wordle threads pinned each day; use those to share your results or discuss anything specific to the currently active Wordle. This includes solve videos or discussion related to a solve, unless there is a novel element to the post.
If you want to share how you did on a Wordle-spinoff, you may create a Daily Thread for that game (if one does not already exist) and leave your result in a comment.
No low-effort content.
Posts about personal statistics, performances, streaks, or results in Wordle or Wordle-spinoff games are prohibited, unless they (1) do not contain any spoilers; and (2) are high-quality, well-captioned, and can provoke a meaningful conversation.
All posts must be about Wordle.
Posts that are not about NYT's Wordle game are prohibited. This includes spinoffs, ripoffs, and (for now) other NYT games. Feel free to bring that content over to /r/WordleSpinoffs.
All posts must begin with the index of Wordle they discuss.
Posts that are about a specific day or reference stats/performance from a specific Wordle should indicate that Wordle's index in its title, for example "[1234] What would the optimal word be in this situation?"
