The focus is watercolor, but art made from and reviews about related mediums (gouache, mixed media, watercolor pencils soluble pencils/crayons) is permitted.
Be constructive
Comments, especially those giving art advice or critique, should be constructive.
No art theft
Don’t post other people’s art as if it is your own.
Tutorial pieces, copies, or studies are allowed but credit to original creators should be given.
Reports of art theft should be accompanied by messaging moderators through modmail WITH PROOF (link to source of art).
No digitalart/AI
This sub is for the traditional medium of watercolor. There are many other communities for digital art.
Reports of AI content should be accompanied by a modmail message containing proof.
Credit your sources and references
If you use a reference picture or share art you did not create, you must include the name of the original creator and a link back to the source.
No art identification or pricing requests
There are subs dedicated to identifying and pricing objects and antiques. This community is for art creators.
