Be a teenager

A teenager is someone aged between 13 and 19, inclusive. If you're older than 19, please do not participate. You might have good intentions or want to give advices, but it's a subreddit for teenagers only.

Do not send NSFW content

This is a SFW subreddit for teenagers. Do not send porn, overly suggestive content or content that might not be suitable for teenagers. Do not sexualise the users of this subreddit or send shirtless pictures too.

But of course, teenagers are teenagers so some topics can be discussed if it's not disturbing and properly flaired. Please note that moderators always have the final say on what can and cannot be posted.

Note: questions templates/number games with NSFW questions are also not allowed.

Do not be active in porn/porn related subreddits

We do not allow users with sitewide NSFW activity to be active here as we're a subreddit aimed at teenagers and this could facilitate access to pornographic content to them, make them uncomfortable and would let creeps active in those NSFW subreddits to find this subreddit more easily and harass the users here.

This applies to everyone, including teenagers.

Do not spam

Posts taking space unnecessarily (clogging /new/) or that are extremely low effort may be removed. If a post is constructed in a way to deliberately promote engagement bait / obvious karma farming (for example, posting highly controversial content mainly to promote heated arguments). Overdone trends are also considered as spam when they start to clog /new/.

Do not post selfies

Selfies are not allowed in the subreddit. A selfie is generally a picture that includes your face and is focused on your face/you. Please do not include them in your posts. AI generated selfies are also not allowed.

Moderators have the final say on whether your post break this rule or not if it includes a picture of yourself.

Do not search for a partner here

This is not a dating subreddit. Looking for a partner or to e-date here is not allowed.

About AMAs and posts asking for dms

While AMA posts are allowed, they can easily get spammy. To prevent them from becoming low-effort, they require a body text with at least 100 characters (unless you're using a question template) where you can briefly introduce yourself, your hobbies, interests, fun facts... so questions asked feel less generic and more relevant to you.

Users making posts asking for dms need to have an undisclosed minimum account age and karma amount to post. This is done to reduce the amount of predatory posts.
