Research/Survey Approval

All research, surveys, questionnaires etc. need to be manually approved by the mods before posting in the sub. Message the mods using modmail on the sidebar. Please include the institution name and all IRB, consent information forms, along with your .edu contact information. All research and surveys done outside of the U.S. will undergo a similar verification process before given approval.

Any and all vaccine misinformation and/or fearmongering will result in a permanent ban.

Do not ask for a diagnosis on Reddit

Even with continuous mod work, our sub’s posts and comments continue to be flooded with “is <insert symptom> a sign of a stroke?” type submissions.

This rule is not only to help with the health of our sub, but also for the safety and sanity of our new and existing members alike. Immediate suspension

No Soliciting Funds or Posting Fundraisers

No posts or comments asking for money, or linking to fundraisers, are allowed. This includes sites/apps such as GoFundMe, CashApp, Venmo, PayPal, etc. Too many people and bots seek to scam users this way, and we have no way of verifying if something is legitimate or not.
