Complaints about topics 3rd party and outside of any control of the brand will be removed.

Constructive criticism is allowed and encouraged but simple complaint posts that don’t go into detail and don’t encourage discussion will be removed.

Low Skill - Low Effort

Posts on the Subreddit must adhere to a certain standard of quality and should encourage discussion. Examples for low effort posts include, but are not limited to:

Reposts AI generated posts Scam posts Posts with vague titles or that are just a title Out of Warranty related posts Rants about things out of everyone's control Complaints about physical abuse of product or software

When Assisting Others, Please Directly Assist Them With Their Questions

When assisting other community members with support related questions, please make sure that you are doing your best to directly assist with the question at hand. Please do not sidestep, demean, downplay, or ignore the user's issue in your reply.

As an example, if a user is having an issue with a device on Mac, do not reply "Just switch to Windows" as this is both demeaning and sidestepping the issue.

No doxxing, spamming, or harassment

Harassment, posts that are not constructive, and/or thread spamming will be removed and a ban may be issued. This includes harassment towards mods & SteelSeries employees.

Bugs and Errors

These Issues SHOULD include:

Screenshots of errors, bugs or glitches Account related issues (e.g. issues with purchases, issues logging in or recovering an account) Technical issues or bugs in detail.

Insta-Ban: Posts about an exploit or hack you've found. In anyway. At all.
