Everything about snapping turtles as pets/roommates. Softshell turtles and mud/musk turtles are welcome, too. If you hail from a different part of the world and have native turtles that fill the same role as these turtles, feel free to introduce us to them on Saturdays. This sub does not advise or advocate the taking of any turtles from the wild, other than by licensed wildlife/rehabilitation officials. Feel free to help a turtle cross the street. But leave it at that.
