r/legomoc Subreddit Rules
Be civil to all users
Treat all users on this subreddit with respect.
All posts must be LEGO® MOCs OR questions related to LEGO® MOC making*
If you build a MOC that someone else designed, that is fine to post, but you must credit the original designer (and use the SEC flair).
Compatible non-LEGO blocks go to r/buildingblocks.
*However, questions about LEGO® MOC making are better suited for r/LegoMocHelp
Credit designers
If you make a MOC that someone else designed, you must credit the designer (and use the SEC flair).
Rules on selling/paid instructions:
If you share images of a MOC, you may include a link to the instructions in the body text or the comments of your post (even if they cost money).
However, if instructions cost money, you may not ask/encourage people to buy them (whether the MOC is yours or someone else's) - you may only drop the link.
You cannot make a post just linking to instructions - you must include images.
No links to the sale of actual, physical sets, unless they are official LEGO® sets from the LEGO® website.
No NSFW/sexual content and no real-life nudity
Real-life nudity will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
No spam, including repeated WIP and Ideas posts.
Please only post your Ideas submission once on this subreddit. However, you may post the same Ideas submission twice if you have made a significant alteration/update.
If your submission reaches 10,000 supporters, you may post it once more as a celebratory post.
If you are working on a MOC, please do not make repeated work-in-progress posts. One or two is fine, but no more.
No repeated video posts. Please do not post numerous video posts (including tutorials) all at once/on the same day.
Please try to post high quality content.
Photos shouldn't be super grainy, dark, or upside down. We need to be able to see the MOC.
AI generated content is prohibited.
Use the correct post flairs
"MOC" (My Own Creation) - a MOC you designed and made.
"SEC" (Someone Else's Creation) - a MOC someone else designed but you made.
"Ideas Submission" - a MOC that has been submitted to LEGO® Ideas.
"MOC Minifigures" - minifigures you created.
"Question/Help" - self explanatory.
No overally divisive/controversial posts
Posts/MOCs that are too divisive, controversial, and/or not appropiate for this subreddit will be removed at the mods- discretion.
