No soliciting or offering assistance bypassing an iCloud activation lock
/r/iCloud will not and cannot assist with bypassing iCloud activation locks on Apple devices.
While we recognize there are some situations where the need to bypass an activation lock is legitimate, many iOS devices with activation locks are stolen. The activation lock process was implemented to improve security and deter theft, so /r/iCloud will not facilitate any efforts to circumvent this process. Offenses will result in post/comment removal and/or a permanent ban.
Zero tolerance on deception and scams: Only verified-flair Apple employees can pose as Apple support
To help protect redditors' personal data and prevent phishing attacks, we hold a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding deception and scams.
Only redditors with "Verified Apple Support" flair should be presenting themselves as Apple support. Any user determined to be misrepresenting themselves could be banned.
Phone numbers, websites, or e-mail addresses that present themselves as being official Apple support or an official Apple login page or website will be removed and the user banned.
No Subscription Sharing
Subscription sharing is prohibited by Apple’s TOS. As such, discussion on it is prohibited on r/iCloud.
If you are helping someone the only links that you are allowed to use is Apple CERTIFIED links.
This is to help with safety. If you do not follow this you will be permanently banned.
