Do not post personal information that you'd be easilly identifiable by (face, home adress , etc.) Online safety is a serious thing that we take very seriously. Additionaly, do not attempt to doxx other users. Anyone caught doing so will be met with appropriate consequences

Do not make posts or comments containing graphic violence or sexual scenes. Reddit is a 13+ site, making it likely that some of our inhabitants might be minors. Simply said, keep it sfw

Posts must be relevant to Fictionkin

This is a fictionkin subreddit so please keep your posts on topic, whether it's discussion, art, questions, your own experience or anything else. All kinds of fictionfolk are welcome here, including fictives

Regarding non-kin

Non-kin (humans of no fictionkin experience) might still post as long as they abide by the rules and are respectful to the subreddit's main demographic. If you came here just to make fun of fictionkin and are found out, you'll be banned

Don’t exclude

Don’t exclude or overlook anyone. We understand some sources might be more popular than others, and that some users post more or less than others, but that is not a reason to overlook them. They’re members of this subreddit just like anyone else and even they should feel welcome and accepted (this is not something we’ll be able to actively enforce, but we ask you to please abide by this and try to make everyone feel welcome regardless of their activity or source)

Doubles and communication

As one big community, being able to communicate with each other is highly important. Please attempt to solve any problem in a civil way first, and contact a mod if you have any problems you can’t solve among yourselves

Doubles: Regardless what’s your stance on doubles, they have a place here as much as you do. If you have problem with doubles, regardless of whether or not you believe in their existence,we ask you to clearly but respectfully establish your boundary and move on.

Doubles part 2

An extension of rule 7. If you believe doubles aren't real, we ask you to keep this belief to yourself. We want everyone in this subreddit to feel safe. If you have problems with a double, reffer to rule 7, instead of harassment or invalidation towards said double. Furthermore, if you have a problem with a double, it is your own responsibility (not the double 's) to ensure you don't interact with them as well. Otherwiye expect them to respond back and don't get mad if they do

No AI

Don't use AI art or promote generative AI in the subreddit as it can be harmful at times. However, we do not tolerate harassment, and as such, any direct harassment of AI users is prohibited and will be met with consequences if caught

Keep the spirit

To say it simply, this is meant to be a comforting community where everyone is welcome. Please restrain from any kind of arguments And/or fighting amongst each other. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be faced with consequences, depending on the severity of their actions

No drama
