This subreddit is only for discussion relating to FC Bayern München.

Please think about whether or not your contribution really needs its own thread and if it promotes & facilitates a healthy discussion about the club or team.

Often, your contribution might better be suited as a comment in our daily discussion thread than as it's own thread.

No non-relevant images or videos

Do not submit low-quality / low-effort pics or videos that do not promote and facilitate discussion, i.e. kit pics, pictures of yourself/other fans, stadium or tour photos,highlight videos, wallpapers, macro images, etc.

This also applies to pictures and videos from social media pages if they do not add further information such as clarifying injury status,etc.

Don't be rude

This especially includes racism, homophobia, xenophobia, sexism or other offensive language. Be nice to each other and try to respect each other opinions. Abusing and personally attacking other users, including moderators, will get your comments removed and can result in a ban.

No links to illegal/unofficial Streams

Posting, requesting, or sharing links to illegal streams of any kind is strictly prohibited. Violations of this rule will result in the removal of your post/comment and may lead to temporary or permanent bans from the subreddit.

Follow the reddiquette

You can read it here. In particular, please only downvote posts and comments because they do not add to the discussion, NOT because you disagree with the comment or OP.

Self-promotion and blog-spam is not allowed

Self-Promotion by itself is not an issue. However someone must also be willing to contribute to other peoples topics and discussions as much as they promote their own channels. Anyone who is only on this subreddit to promote their own websites/Social Media channels/Blogs without offering anything in return to other users of the sub, will be banned from /r/fcbayern.For more information, see reddit.com's spam/ guidelines as well as reddit's stand in regards to selfpromotion.

No shitposting

Memes, reaction gifs,etc. are allowed as long as they are high-quality/high-effort content. Low-quality Memes,reaction gifs, trolling and appreciation threads will be removed. Asking about broadcasting schedules, public viewing, etc. is also frowned upon.The same goes for "My thoughts on..." posts as well as kit questions. Please think about whether or not your contribution really needs its own thread and if it promotes discussion. Often the Daily Discussion thread is what you are looking for.

No Gatekeeping

We welcome all types of fans, new and old, thus any effort of gatekeeping or dividing the community based on "who counts as a real fan" will not be tolerated.

No buying, selling or exchanging of tickets

You cannot ask to buy, sell or give away tickets (as we cannot ensure you will not charge for them later) anywhere on the sub. If you are interested in buying or selling tickets, please see our Visiting Munich FAQ.

Spamming is forbidden

Read the reddit-wide rules on spam here. Also,to curb the „content spamming“ condensing the content is now required - this goes especially for quotes. Multiple, quick succession posts might get removed from now on if they are deemed to be excessive.

Reddit allows for up to 300 characters in the title which should provide enough opportunity give a brief overview. If that is not enough submit the content as a self-post.

Evading a ban by using alternate accounts or other methods is not allowed and will result in further action.
