No Generative AI Images or Edits

AI-generated images or edits that add, replace, reconstruct, or fabricate visual details are not allowed. This includes generated stars, nebulae, skies, objects, or missing image data. Traditional astrophotography processing, such as stacking, calibration, noise reduction, sharpening, and color correction, is permitted when applied to genuine captured data.

Violations may result in post removal or a ban.

No Spam or Hidden Promotion

Self-promotion is not permitted in this community.

This includes (but is not limited to) promoting personal apps, software, services, YouTube channels, social media accounts, affiliate links, or any content intended to drive subscriptions, traffic, or financial gain.

Do not solicit images or media from members for personal use. Any other content, such as tools, processing software, guides, or external platforms, must receive prior approval from the moderation team before being posted.

No Sales, Solicitation, or Marketplace Posts

Posts or comments offering to buy, sell, trade, auction, or give away DWARFLAB devices, accessories, or other equipment are not permitted. Legitimate product recommendations and discussions are welcome when they directly answer a member’s question and are not connected to personal financial gain.

Any sales-related content may be removed without notice. Repeated violations may result in a temporary or permanent ban.

Other: Moderation of content or personal interactions (not community focused)

Posts or comments that are off-topic, misleading, disruptive, repetitive, or provide no meaningful value to the community will be removed. This includes low-effort or non-discussion posts that do not receive engagement or contain obscure topics.

Personal attacks, harassment, or attempts to demean other members are not acceptable. Arguing aggressively about moderation decisions will result in suspension or ban from the community.
