This is subreddit is for DEATH BATTLE only. If your content does not specifically relate to the show, it will be removed. Examples of posts that are NOT allowed include: General VS debating topics, discussing content creators, etc.

Respect Staff Members' Privacy

Do not share out-of-context screenshots of DEATH BATTLE! staff members (researchers, writers, etc.). No one likes having their words taken out of their mouths; to ensure that all DB staff members are comfortable engaging with the community, we ask that you refrain from sharing anything a Staff member may have said elsewhere, unless it comes from an explicitly public forum such as the official Youtube channel or Twitter.

Do not post DB videos unless missing after several days

Don't post new videos from the DEATH BATTLE Channel unless you don't see it here after a couple of days. We have a bot that takes care of that.

Do not make individual threads for matchup/character ideas, requests, or suggestions

Please do not clutter the sub with matchup or character requests, ideas, or suggestions. We have a form for that HERE

Any and all posts found to be under this category will be removed and the user will be subject to a ban if the issue persists.

No Solicitation/SPAM

Do not post anything that is or can be considered SPAM or Solicitation. This includes referral links or posts just requesting subs/follows for social media, etc. This is ultimately up to a mod's discretion. Reviews, Reactions, and/or "Fanworks" are fine and encouraged, but make them good!

Tag your spoilers

Any and all posts made in the 24 hours leading up to the new DEATH BATTLE being uploaded to YouTube cannot contain any spoilers in their titles, and must be tagged if the post itself contains spoilers. Failing to do so will result in a removal of your post.

No pornographic, NSFW or sexually explicit content

As many of the users on this sub are minors, no pornographic or sexually explicit content may be posted. This especially goes for content that sexualizes minors (fictional or not). Think of the children, darnit!

Always link to the source!

If you are sharing someone else's original content, whether it be art, music, or otherwise, you must link to the original author clearly. If the original author does not wish for their works to be reposted, or post it themselves, reposts will be removed without exception. Likewise, failing to link a source to original content that is not yours will be subject to removal and a warning.

Zero Tolerance Policy for racism, transphobia

This subreddit has a zero tolerance policy for all forms of racism and transphobia, no matter how minimal, nor whether a comment is made in jest at the expense of others.
