No sexual or creepy comments

This is not a place for you to make sexual comments or hit on or objectify our posters, or look for dates or relationships. Sexual innuendo is not tolerated. You will not be given the benefit of the doubt for ambiguous comments that could reasonably be perceived as creepy.

Do not imply connections between fashion and sexual activity.

Be civil and kind

Be kind to others. Keep conversations civil and polite. Constructive criticism is welcome but it should be delivered with kindness and tact. Treat others as you would want to be treated.

Stay on topic

Comments must address the poster's questions. Do not give unsolicited advice on other topics. Compliments unrelated to the purpose of the post are not appropriate here. It doesn't matter if your intentions are good. This is not a compliments subreddit - this is about color analysis.

No misogyny, hatred or bigotry

This community is open and welcoming of all people regardless of race, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

If you are a a bigot, you are not welcome here.

Misogyny and sexism will not be tolerated.

Do not preface comments with "As a man" or similar. Just give your opinions. Do not frame women's fashion choices in terms of the male gaze.

No accusations of AI, editing, or catfishing

Editing or photoshopping of images is expressly allowed here. Do not comment on it, and do not accuse others of it.

Posting of AI images of people who do not exist is not allowed. If you suspect this, please contact the mods via modmail and we will address it. Accusing posters on the subreddit in the comments is not allowed.

It is permitted to let posters know that the use of makeup or filters makes typing impossible if typing is requested, but it should be done kindly and with tact.

No ratings of any kind

Do not make a post asking for ratings. Do not give any kind of ratings in the comments. This is not a ratings subreddit. This is about giving helpful advice on fashion. There are plenty of subreddits where people want ratings. This is not one of them.

Flair your posts correctly

All posts must have accurate flairs.

Post only yourself / No catfishing

Do not post others' pics. You should be the only one in your photos that is not colored over or cropped out.

If you are banned for suspected catfishing, you must send in a verification photo showing your face and holding a handwritten piece of paper with your username and the date to modmail (use Imgur or another similar hosting site that does not require a login).

No spam, advertising or copyright images

Don't spam or advertise in our subreddit. Violators will be permanently banned.

Post only images you have permission to post.

Don't DM anyone

Do not DM anyone, share your social media, or solicit DM's or social media contacts. Please report unwanted DM's to the mods. Those violating this rule will be banned and added to a publicly viewable creep list.

Typing posts must include sufficient info to type

You may not include photos with makeup in typing posts. This includes eye makeup (liner/mascara).

Note that the no makeup rule does not apply to all post flairs, only to typing flairs. It does not apply to other post flairs, such as hair color advice.

Please see the appropriate post flair for the requirements for that flair.

Images posted should be appropriate for typing and not sexually suggestive

Typing posts should focus on the area of concern (for example, the face or portrait photos or the wrist or arm, etc.)

Photos should not be sexually suggestive. No images in lingerie, sexually suggestive poses, pictures while lying on a bed, visible areolae, etc.

Mods reserve the right to remove posts if there is belief that the images do not adhere to these guidelines or may be inappropriate for typing.

No “what is my eyecolor” posts

Please do not make posts asking about this. Eye color may be discussed when relevant, but should not be the primary subject of the post.

Moderator discretion

Moderators may remove posts or comments or ban users if they believe it in the best interests of the community.
