Be Respectful!

Everyone here is entitled to their opinion and is allowed to share all of their (respectful) thoughts!

Rants and other such posts are allowed, but let’s make sure we’re being nice and appropriate.

Excessive name-calling will not be tolerated (at the mod team’s discretion).

Telling an employee that they should be fired/ don't deserve their job/ or any variation of this sentiment will now result in a 7 day ban with a permanent ban being considered with any additional issues.

Be Respectful 2.0

Incessantly bothering other members of the subreddit for “complaining too much” will result in your post/comment being removed. Users complaining on the sub are using it as intended and should not be excessively told to stop. Post takedowns at Moderator discretion based on the content of the comments.

No Customer Service Questions

Please direct all questions, comments, or concerns about issues with B&BW products to either r/bathandbodyworks or call a store.

Please do not cross-post CS questions from the non-employee subreddit. The only cross-posting allowed will be questions or concerns from fellow employees about the job or products.

Customers are still welcome to comment and ask us questions about our jobs, but please do not treat us like customer service agents, we are here to chat and vibe off the clock! Thank you

Products Unreleased on B&BW Socials (Leaking Unreleased Products )

New Rule of Thumb: If it hasn’t been posted on the OFFICIAL BATH & BODY WORKS SOCIAL MEDIAS then we don't post about it here.

Some stores may put out items ahead of time and the APP may post a day early, but until it's on THEIR FB/IG/Tiktok, we will be monitoring the product posts.

It's in onboarding not to post anything that the company hasn’t posted. HR/home office has been on Reddit since at least the Sweethearts collab and so it’s not something we want to take lightly.

Do Not Spread Mis/Disinformation

Spreading mis/disinformation about the Bath and Body Works Company will not be tolerated. You may discuss your grievances, but refrain from making false accusations about the company.

No Promotions

Please do not promote any kind of survey, product, service, etc. in the sub. This includes posts, comments, and DM’s. The first time will be a warning and the second time will be a permanent ban from the subreddit.

If you happen to come across something like this, please report it to the mod team.

EXCEPTIONS: University students conducting research for papers/studies. Please DM the Mod Team and we’ll be happy to work with you!

No sharing personal information

Personal information such as store location, city, name, etc., cannot be shared here. You can share your's and others' employee titles, but no identifying information will be tolerated.

This also includes sharing the names of your coworkers. Doing so will result in an immediate permanent ban.

Do Not Ask For Coupon Codes or Discounts

Do not ask for coupon codes, discounts or access to employee benefits such as employee discounts or access to MOS sales/ gratis.

We do not have access to coupons to give you. We don't even get coupons ourselves. If you want coupons, make a rewards account and hope that they send you some in your rewards wallet!

Asking for access to employee benefits is a more serious infraction that will not be tolerated. There is now a single strike system where a second infraction will result in a ban.

Check Megathreads

Please make sure you’re checking the dedicated megathreads for important information! These are to ensure that the sub feed isn’t filled with repeat questions and to make sure all the information you need is in one place!

We will add and remove them as needed (which will always come with an announcement)! If your post is flagged as needing to belong in a megathread, it will be removed, but you’re free to repost it in its dedicated thread!

Scheduling/ Hours Post

To avoid the sub being inundated with posts about minimal hours during the slow season (not including posts asking for advice on potential retaliation), please direct posts about scheduling/ hours to the Scheduling and Hours Megathread

Gratis Posts

To mitigate the number of posts, there is a pinned post DEDICATED to gratis! It will be updated with the dates you can recieve yours as well as which products are in it AFTER the products are posted on B&BW socials- Just be mindful of Rule 2!
