Maintain Quality Standards

The following submissions are considered as low effort and will be removed:

• 1a: Low-quality memes/Shit-posts
• 1b: Pixelated or unreadable images
• 1c: Petitions/polls made without mod discretion
• 1d: Non-fanart birthday content
• 1e: Vague/clickbait titles
• 1f: Factually-incorrect posts
• 1g: Leaks/rumors
• 1h: Karma-begging

Keep content original, clear, and meaningful to maintain quality.

No Spoilers. Read the spoiler guidelines!

We define spoiler as any information that reveals plot elements, character arcs, world-building secrets, or events that have not yet been revealed in the anime's (or manga's) current season/volume or the most widely accessible release. This includes (but may not be limited to):

• 2a: Character deaths, betrayals, final bosses, relationship end-games, or major victories/losses
• 2b: Source Material Context

Follow the spoiler guidelines. Posts containing unmarked spoilers will be removed.

Restrictions on pornography or sexually suggestive material

Posts where sexually suggestive content is more dominant than any other content, joke, or punchline are not allowed.

Posts and comments containing lightly NSFW content are acceptable. This means underwear, bikinis, cleavage, butts, and light fanservice is fine.

Things that are not lightly NSFW include:

• 3a: Nipples, genitals of any gender
• 3b: Heavily implied sexual content, and sexual contact between characters

Posts having light NSFW aspects must be marked as NSFW.

Spam and promotion are prohibited

The following will be removed:

• 4a: Spam
• 4b: Excessive advertising
• 4c: Self-promotion
• 4d: Surveys

If you are the original creator of a post, linking to your original post on an external site is allowed, but further promotion and encouragement such as “Join my <Social media> server/page/channel”, is considered excessive and will be removed.

If you are a creator or an influencer and you want your work to be recognized, kindly reach the mods via modmail for permission.

Restrictions on AI-generated or AI-assisted content:

The subreddit believes in authenticity. We do not consider media generated using Artificial Intelligence (or AI) as "artworks or "art". So, the following things will be removed, and actions might be taken on the user in case of violation:

• 5a: AI-generated or AI-assisted images, videos, clips
• 5b: Posts or comments made using AI, or assisted using AI LLMs
• 5c: Memes created using AI

No aggressive opinionating or sensitive discussions

No discussions, rants or spams about current real-world partisan political figures. We don't allow posts or comments that have discussions about any active political figures, or templates that might be associated with them.

Your post might be removed if it contains:

• 6a: Symbols/figure-heads of real-world political parties
• 6b: Political campaign posters/slogans

Exceptions: Rule 6 is NOT applicable when any particular government censors or bans an anime, manga, novel or game.

Be nice, and engage in civil discourse

Targetted harrassment or hate towards any individual, community or fandom is not allowed.

• 7a: Hate speech or discrimination, whether it may be on the basis of caste, faith, gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, or xenophobia, is NOT allowed.
• 7b: Extreme hatred or abuse towards fans of any anime, manga or novel is NOT permitted. Only constructive criticism is allowed.
• 7c: Remember the human. Be polite. Do not harass or bully any member.
• 7d: Unnecessary trolling is not allowed

No lewd loli/shota content

We will remove any posts, comments, or links that appear to be in violation of Reddit's policies on sexualized minors.

Do not link to illegal content

Do not:

• 9a: Link/lead people to torrents or unofficial streams/downloads. This also includes manga, light novels, and other illegal or unlicensed media.
• 9b: Link of illegal streaming sites and links to images hosted on scanlation sites.

Non-OC fanart and cosplay posts are only allowed to be posted under certain restrictions:

• 10a: If you're posting fanart not made by you (non-OC), then you must credit the original creator by mentioning their social media handle in the title of the post.
• 10b:: Non-OC arts having the "DO NOT REPOST" watermark (or similar) will be removed.
• 10c: All non-OC Cosplay posts must be posted only with the permission of the cosplayer, and their social media handle should be mentioned.

Videos in Comments

The following shall be removed:

• 11a: Inappropriate, violent, explicit or nude imagery, including gore, NSFL, NSFW, and sexual contact between characters. (Light fanservice is permissible)
• 11b: Videos containing spoilers (same definition of 'spoiler' as per Rule 2)
• 11c: Meta commentary, including screen-recordings from other communities
• 11d: Clips of full or partially pirated episodes
