A place to get genus/species identification from pictures of fruiting bodies! It helps to include good quality pictures of the mushroom in its native environment, the location you found them, photos of both the top and underside. It is also useful to know what the mushroom was growing on - wood, dung or on the ground? Nearby trees are also helpful to know. The more information you provide the more confident our IDs will be!

A place for everyone show their gourmets and actives off without rows of rules. No open selling of any fruits or illegal substances of any kind. Let’s learn from one another. Spore trading is acceptable as well as sourcing as long as it’s legal just switch to DM. We hold a weekly Most Upvoted Actives award which includes a print or swab up to the vendors discretion with other options that are available for microscopy use only.
