Whenever possible, avoid Generative AI Images in posts.

While we don't forbid all possible use cases for AI outright, please avoid using Generative AI Images in posts if possible. If the moderation team think the AI image was too tasteless or needless, it may result into the post being removed. However, one case we do allow AI is if the AI material being shared was not generated by the OP and outside of their control (e.g. inside a link being shared). This rule only applies to posts, not comments. If you dislike a comment due to AI, downvote it.

Whenever possible, avoid having your text written entirely by Generative AI.

The SKG subreddit focuses on human generated content. Posts written entirely by AI are not allowed. Partial and tasteful usage of AI text is allowed, even if not disclosed (e.g. for spellchecking of human text; for a small tl;dr summary of the text). If the moderation team thinks the AI text was too tasteless or needless, it may result into the content being removed. However, one case where we do allow text written completely by AI is AI translation of human text by non-English speakers
