Celebrate Zack Snyder and Stay on Topic

This sub is named after the Snyder Cut of Justice League, but is not just for discussion of that movie. Allowed topics for discussion include the following: Projects that Zack Snyder is involved with. Projects that are related to Snyder's work. Comparisons of WB's other DC projects to Snyder's work. Efforts to restore the Snyderverse. And events in the Snyder fan community, such as fundraisers and fan gatherings. Promoting works unrelated to Snyder and discussing unrelated topics is not allowed.

No Disrespect Towards Zack Snyder or His Work

Insulting Zack Snyder or trashing his body of work is not allowed. Arguing against the restoration of the Snyderverse or against Snyder returning to DC films is not allowed. While balanced criticism can be made of Snyder's works in the context of a larger discussion, it must be substantive and respectful. Simply attacking or bashing his work without a reasonable explanation is not allowed. People who spend most of their time on this sub criticizing Snyder's work will be banned.

No Disrespect Towards Zack Snyder Fans

Criticizing people for being Zack Snyder fans is not allowed. Making negative generalizations about Snyder fans is not allowed. Referring to one or more Snyder fans with a disparaging term such as bot, cult, crazy, etc. is not allowed. "Concern trolling," lecturing Snyder fans, or telling Snyder fans to "move on" is not allowed. Claiming that Snyder fans are disliked or have a bad reputation is not allowed. Complaining about the sub existing or about Reddit recommending it to you is not allowed.

No Low-Quality Posts

Posts should be well-written and easy to understand. Always link to your source. Do not just post a screenshot without including a link to where it came from, either in the post itself or in a comment. Avoid linking to "aggregator" web sites that just write a summary of an article from a different web site. Instead, find the original source they used and link to that. Do not make a new post about a topic that has already been recently discussed. Just add a comment to the existing post.

No Low-Quality Post Titles

Post titles should be succinct and descriptive. Do not write vague titles that make it impossible to know what your post is about. Do not write "clickbait" titles that are misleading or sensationalize the topic. Do not engage in "title gore," where you try to squeeze too much information or too many statements into your title. Choose an appropriate and accurate flair for your post.

Posts of Videos Must Include a Description

If you want people to watch a video, take the time to explain why. Tell us why it is on-topic for the sub and why it is worth watching. If the video is not something simple like a movie trailer or a clip that can be described in the post title, then you must add a comment to your post to explain in a general way what the video is about.

No Misinformation

No misinformation, factually incorrect statements or fake news about any subject is allowed. If you can't provide proof of something that you are claiming is true, then make sure you describe it as being unproven.

No Unmarked Spoilers or Leaks

No spoilers or leaks about future projects or recent projects that are less than one year old are allowed in post titles. Any post with spoilers or leaks inside must be marked with a spoiler warning. Any comment with spoilers or leaks must black out the text with spoiler tags.

No Personal Attacks or Threats

Insulting, bullying, harassing or threatening unlawful actions against other users is not allowed. Saying a user should be banned is not allowed. Accusing a user of being a bot or of using multiple accounts without proof is not allowed. Bringing up a user's past activity that is unrelated to the discussion is not allowed. Posting information about a user from non-Reddit sources is not allowed. Attacking a user based on their age, sex, race, religious beliefs or political opinions is not allowed.

No False Accusations

Posting rumors, gossip, false accusations or unproven allegations about any user or public figure is not allowed. Accusing people of criminal activity, bigotry or other egregious behavior is prohibited, unless you link to a credible source that verifies your statement, or you are relating a first-hand experience. Quoting people out of context without linking to the original source of the quote is not allowed.

No Illegal Activity or Bigotry

Engaging in, promoting or endorsing illegal activity or criminal behavior is not allowed. Disparaging any individuals or groups of people based on their age, sex, race, religious beliefs or political opinions is not allowed.

No Spam or Self-Promotion

Posts or comments that are made simply to advertise or promote another web site, subreddit or social media page are not allowed, even if those sites are Zack Snyder-related. You are allowed to link to Snyder-related merchandise or show off your Snyder-related purchases or collection.

No Meta Posts About the Sub

Posts or comments about the sub itself or its rules are not allowed. Any such "meta" discussion must be had in the moderator post linked below. Moderators will review all the comments made here.

No Blocking Moderators or Ban Evasion

You will be banned from this sub if you use the Block Account feature to block our moderators, or have otherwise shown contempt for our moderators. Using an alternate account to post on a sub is known as ban evasion. Reddit says ban evasion "could result in a Reddit-wide suspension." Users suspected of doing this will be reported to Reddit. You may use the "Message the mods" button to appeal any ban from this sub that you believe was done in error. Do not send messages to individual moderators.

The moderators reserve the right to remove posts or comments and ban users at their discretion according to the above rules or for other reasons.
