If a post is about news or technology it should be semi-obvious how it is connected to Shadowrun. Not just general Cyberpunk, as that is what /r/cyberpunk is for.
Battle maps are also not considered Shadowrun related simply because they are modern/futuristic. Please direct your generic non-fantasy maps to /r/Shadowrunmaps.
No personal attacks
Don't call people names. Just that easy. You can attack their opinion, their stance on theming, their interpretation of rules, etc. But not the user themselves.
Be civil
Disagreements are bound to happen. Be civil, constructive, don't try to shut down conversations with hostility. Don't let the debate get too heated. Just agree to disagree and move on if it is clear that there will not be a resolution through further posting.
No derailing threads with CGL hate.
While it is obvious that CGL has past issues, Derailing threads looking for help with CGL hate is a distraction and will often end up having questions go unanswered.
So no trashing CGL, calling for boycotts, or other nonsense related to product or the company unless that is what the topic is about.
