r/RobinHood Subreddit Rules

1

One day chart

## If your chart shows less than a week of trading, do not post it.

A one day rally looks awesome but I can check today's stock prices on my own. If you make a pattern of really great trades over a period of time, we want to see that. A week is the bare minimum here and would require an especially amazing set of trades. A month or more of progress is most welcome. You can get around the one day rule by posting an album that includes longer charts.

2

GAINZ without context

# If you cannot include a list of what you own and why, do not post a chart.

If the first two or three replies are people asking what's in your portfolio, you did it wrong. If you can't explain why you made the trades you did, do not post your chart. "I bought because Tesla has rumors of a new minivan" or "XYZ has been profitable for 3 straight quarters" are great explanations. "YOLOlol!!" is not. If chatter on Stocktwits is as deep as your research goes, do not post.

3

Promotion Must Follow Guidelines Listed

If you or anyone else can profit from it, don't link to it here.

  1. Do not ask for donations/patrons/subscriptions/referrals.
  2. Do not promote, link, mention, or refer to any service that asks for donations/patrons/subscriptions/referrals.
  3. Do not send people to your YouTube or blog for an explanation of your post.
  4. Do not link to any blog or video with donation or referral links.
  5. Do not try to get around these really basic rules with "PM me" invitations.
Violation reason: Promotion
4

No Referral Links In Any Form

  1. No direct referral links
  2. No soliciting for referral links
  3. No offering referral links

Any attempt to get around this rule will result in an immediate ban.

Violation reason: Referral Spam
5

Waitlist Whining is Prohibited

Do not whine about being on a waitlist. Robinhood has 10,000,000+ accounts and all ten million users were also on the waitlist. Nobody knows when you'll be off the waitlist. Posting here will not help you get off the waitlist. Only idiots think it's cool to show what place in line you are. Surveys about being on the waitlist are spam. Celebratory posts about being off the waitlist are spam.

Violation reason: Waitlist Whining
6

Account issue

If you have a problem with your account, contact support. If you've already contacted support, wait for support to reply. If support already replied and you're not happy with what they told you, contact support. Nobody on Reddit can resolve your account issue.

Violation reason: This is Reddit.
7

Don't be you

If you're a white knight, don't be you. If you're a Karen, don't be you. If you're upset about how someone else is treating another person, don't be you. If you're someone who doesn't like this rule, don't be you. If you need a written rule to understand how unwelcome you are, don't be you.

Be you somewhere else.

Violation reason: This person sucks.
