We have taken that idea and applied to real life animals, but also include objects, plants, food... pretty much anything that is an atypical color to its norm!

Must be a Shiny
A shiny is a color morph of an organism or inanimate object that's atypical from the usual species, breed, type, or surroundings (e.g. a single color among more usual colors).
A shiny doesn't include:
- animal/plant species that are unusually colored or patterned, e.g. pigeons
- deliberate things
- literally shiny things
- physical anomalies
- things with some sort of outside force affecting the color (light, dye, color fade, aging, etc.)
- photoshopped images
- "real life" Pokemon
No Humans
ALL human beings are shiny, so no singling an individual out.
No Recent Reposts
This covers not just reposting the exact same picture or video as another user, but also includes submitting pictures of _similar content_ that have been recently posted by other users. Wait a week or so and then post away!
This is for the poster's benefit as much as it is for the viewers'. Your post is likely to do better if you don't post it within the same week as a popular post featuring the same type of animal / object.
