Post Format/Specifications

Clearly specify the character/franchise/feats/matchups you are talking about in your post :

Character X (Series/verse name) Character Y (Series/verse name) etc. Description/rule of the fight

Posts with the following topic/format aren't allowed

1. "character/verse are now scaled by ....."
2. "Forget powerscaling ..... who is .....?"
3. Posts complaining about powerscaling (including "hating on wank" and specific series fans)
4. All shitpost/agenda ("weak character actually solos fiction")

Agenda posting and comments non related to powerscaling

Agenda posting is banned, as it’s not powerscaling related and often interrupts serious powerscaling discussions. Same for any comment not related to powerscaling under a matchup/scale.

Common courtesy

All scaling is interpretation based so don’t overtly harass others for a difference of opinion. Clowning is fine and banter is fine but don’t cross lines into just being an asshole. It's common to lose your cool in arguments/debates but don't take it too far No hate/discrimination towards a specific minority, race, religion, no false claims regarding p*dophilia and no calling someone fascist.

Tag spoilers

Keep it SFW here

Use NSFW image only if the character or their design is inherently NSFW. Otherwise, refrain from using NSFW. Post with Soft-NSFW (Rule 34, Cropped P*rn) of characters who have SFW images easily available will be removed.

Don't use any sort of gore images, even using images of character which depicts blood, violence and such, mark it as NSFW. Regardless, it is encouraged to not use unnecessarily gore images.

Original content is valued highly, plagiarism without crediting the scale you borrowed from is against guidelines and will result in post removal.

Burden of proof

(When debating) Back up your statements, if you are making definitive claims be prepared to back them up with sources or reasoning and be aware of when you are making speculative claims in their place. read rule 3

Keep identity out of screenshots

> When sharing a screenshot of someone else’s comment or post, ensure their name, profile picture and flair is fully covered, removed, or cropped out properly to avoid unnecessary witch-hunting. Additionally don't link the comment/post where the SS originates from.

AI content

The use of AI to circumvent the necessity of using your own arguments and reasoning will result in summary post removal and a ban on repeat offenses.

This sub is dedicated to people debating by forming their own arguments so using 3rd party tools to debunk/scale/make argument against, goes against our code of conduct.

“I asked an AI chat bot where another character scales” and other similar shitposts are fine though.
