Civilized Discussion

When posting or commenting on Piratefolk attempt to facilitate civilized discussion.

Taking part or encouraging the following is disallowed: -Doxxing -Threats of violence -Hate speech/Targeted bullying/Excessive rudeness -Responding to constructive arguments with low effort insults/remarks -Arguing in bad faith/being dishonest (eg excessive strawmanning) -Talking about controversial real world topics not related to Onepiece -Excessive trolling/baiting -Telling users to commit self harm

Spoilers

Hints, Leaks, Raws, and other information about the upcoming chapter are allowed but MUST be spoiler tagged and properly titled on the FIRST day of release of said leak/hint/raw.

To combat spam and centralized discussion, the leaks themselves will be contained to a pinned mega thread.

If you want to post fake spoilers you must correctly flair them as fake.

Posting non onepiece spoilers without proper tagging or warning will result in a ban depending on the frequency/severity of the spoiler.

Spam

Before making a post please check and make sure someone else hasn't posted the same thing.

If your post is simply a manga page or panel with a title, make sure no one else has posted the same thing already. This means sort by new & check.

While the reddit search feature isn't great, please refrain from beating the same topics to deaths. We may remove posts that cover topics that come up frequently that don't lead to fruitful discussion or often lead to rule breaking content.

Harassing Other Communities

Do not go onto other subreddits and provoke users in attempt to post here.

Attempting to come here from other communities and making posts in hopes of getting a reaction from this sub will result in a ban. This includes making posts "What is the point of this place" or posts making straw man arguments or generalizations about the sub in a negative manner.

You must blockout out usernames of others when posting screenshots. This does not apply when giving credit for a post.

Banned Content

Do not post Porn. This includes posting poorly cropped hentai or generally lewd art.

Do not post links for or solicit copyrighted materials or advertise piracy websites.

Do not posts non official polls from other communities or websites

Do not defend pedophiles or pedophile content ( loli porn ).

Do not make any posts about OnlyFans or OnlyFans models.

AI Fan art, Videos, Memes, and Text posts are banned

Do not post about why you were banned in a different community.

Restricted Content

Tierlists in all forms are restricted being posted on the weekends and break weeks.

Postings screenshots of tweets or other social media must seek to start a new discussion. We don't need a screenshots of a post every time an internet personality talks about onepiece. Your favorite streaming/content talking about onepiece isn't in itself newsworthy to post here.

Fan Art / Cosplay / Self promotion

Fan art must be SFW as well as high quality and directly relating either to the one piece manga or to this subreddit.

If you are posting someone else's fan art you must credit them.

Cosplays must be SFW. You cannot have links to Onlyfans or related sites anywhere on your profile or in your post.

No unsolicited self promotion is allowed. This includes promoting other subreddits or discords. Posting your friends youtube video or twitch stream counts. Please ask in modmail before making a post.

Content must be related to Onepiece or Oda

Submissions must about Onepiece or Oda. Please make off topic posts in their related places. We may make exceptions for breaking news in the wider anime / manga world such as the death or event involving a prominent figure or changes that could affect Onepiece in the future.

A different manga or series falling off or having a really good chapter does not need to be discussed here.

Powerscaling / Agendaposting

All powerscaling discussion must contain only onepiece characters. No Cross-verse powerscaling. Talking about other series power systems is fine, but No "Could Luffy beat Goku" or similar type posts.

Powerscaling posts here need to be more than just could X beat Y.

When it comes to agenda posting, no coomer posting or cross verse shipping. Agenda relying on sexual images or jokes will be more heavily scrutinized.

Do not make excessive posts about the same character in a short time period.

Criticism Of The Series Is Allowed

Do not Whiteknight for Oda or Onepiece. If you are new here and immediately start defending Oda or the series don't expect to be here for long. Just because you claim that its baseless hate doesn't make it true.

This place is unique because its one of the few places that has a more negative attitude towards the series than other places. Do not attempt to change that for the sake of changing it. If you find yourself here and don't like the content please block the sub.

Low Effort Unconstructive Hate/Glaze Posts about one piece/the subreddit

Any post that is deemed extremely low effort unconstructive venting/hating/glazing will be taken down, especially if it's toxic.

Examples include post with simply 3 paragraphs of calling the series and anyone who reads it stupid.

This rule mostly applies to bottom of the barrel type posts complaining/glazing the series or this subreddit.

Real world politics/current events are not allowed.

Posts/comments discussing or inviting discussion about real world politics and events (eg the assassination of a public figure) are not allowed.

They often derail threads into having nothing to do with one piece and becoming extremely hard to moderate.

Creativity

Posts must have some form of effort in their content. Posts that are simply a question in the title and a random jpeg, reposts, and posts just screenshotting the mainsub will be classified as "low effort" and removed.
