All posts should be game related, especially images considering this subreddit displays the use of 'Photo Mode'.
ALWAYS give credit when it's due!
When reposting someone else's screen shot, ALWAYS give credit to the original creator! In the post title, be sure to address whether or not the shot belongs to you. This is especially important when considering that all posts are considered photo of the month submissions.
Photo Mode & screenshots are to be presented in high quality.
Do not upload a Photo Mode capture or any general screenshot if the quality is poor. For instance, don't take a picture of your screen from your phone camera and post it here. It will be removed. Use the share feature on PS, or if need be, message someone an image, download the PS app, go to the message you sent, save it to your phone, and then post it here.
Screenshots shouldn't contain much, or preferably no HUD at all.
Screenshots are far more appealing without HUD elements such as player/enemy health bars, navigation features, etc. Fortunately, photo mode already excludes this.
Screenshots from trailers are not allowed.
We understand your hype for the visuals shown in a trailer for an upcoming game, but please do not share them as if they are your own shots. If you want to open discussion about trailer occurrences, use the Question/Discussion flair and rant about it.
Don't share more than 2 consecutive posts.
Please do not spam. There shouldn't more than 2 more of your posts in consecutive order under the 'New' filter. It should look diverse!
Gameplay footage is NOT allowed!
The only time GIFs or videos should be posted here is if they're showing off subjects such as the environment or characters with the use of photo mode.
Be respectful to others.
Any form of bigotry or prejudice slander is unacceptable. Keep comments and discussions civil; senseless harassment may result in a ban.
Mark posts as spoilers/NSFW if necessary.
Believe it or not, some people have yet to play these great games. The likelihood of spoiling is also higher as there are many games in this particular subreddit. Mark your spoilers!
