r/PerfumeryFormulas is a forum dedicated to the discussion of perfumery and perfumery formulas. It is not a platform for advertising products or services.
Promotion or marketing in posts and comments without prior approval will be treated as spam and be removed.
If you intend to discuss your for-sale products or services, please first send a draft of your post/comment to all mods and await their approval.
No trademark infringement.
DO NOT refer to any trade names or post formulas that contain trademarked images, logos, photographs or any copyrighted features such as layouts and/or fonts. When in doubt, it is advised that you post the formula in a plain text format. The only exception to this rule is the name and the house of the fragrance, when it is followed by "type formula".
Violation of this rule may result in a ban.
No proprietary vendor formulas!
If you have reason to believe your formula is from a commercial vendor, do not post it here. The main vendors of perfume formulas are creative-formulas.com, Wisemoor.com, and fragrantcode.com. These vendors do not allow a buyer to share their paid-for formulas in any way. It takes the vendors time and money to produce these for a small market like ours. This sub will not discourage these businesses from flourishing. Organizing a group buy is not allowed. Violation may result in a ban.
No commercial fragrance formula requests on main page!
Requests for formula of commercial fragrances are not allowed on the main page. Any requests posted there will be removed. Please post such requests in the weekly sticky thread or on the rPF Formula Requests chat channel.
