Please refrain from making requests that aim to identify individuals on different social media channels or seek facial recognition searches.

You MAY submit content that is behind a paywall if your post also contains information of value to the community. Blantend adverts are not allowed.

Please note that this community values constructive and on-topic discussions. However, the occasional joke, pun threads, off-topic commentary are allowed within reason.

Ethics, hacking and Investigations

You may discuss contentious topics that are legal. You may also ask for advise on your investigations, but no personal dox details are allowed.

No Gatekeeping

The aim of this subreddit is to encourage mutual education and information sharing. Gatekeeping is counterproductive to our OSINT community's ethos. It's important to keep our responses to questions public and helpful, as answers given in direct messages could benefit others.

This community aim is to reach a middle ground between /RBI and /OSINT. However, no Doxing or private information to be posted.

Help me find a person posts are strictly prohibited unless connected to a legitimate missing person's report or corresponding media coverage.These posts often contain personal information and/or are considered doxxing otherwise. We cannot verify anyone's intentions, therefore these posts are prohibited without corroborating information.
