No sharing or asking for links to illegal content. We understand that some may choose to pirate the show, we just ask that you do not use this subreddit to do it.

Post Etiquette.

Spam will be removed at moderator discretion.

Meme posts are allowed on Shitpost Saturdays, Wampyre Wednesdays, or within r/TheatreDesVampires. Any meme posts uploaded other days will be removed (including POV posts). Only 5 memes per post, please. Don’t make multiple posts with memes to try to cheat the system.

Posts must be relevant to the series and actors. No hijacking is allowed, stay on the original subject that you are posting or commenting on. Please include sources.

Cast Privacy.

Photos, videos, etc. of the Cast and Crew are generally not allowed unless a link is provided to their specific social media platforms and/or the platforms of the show. Media from official press events, etc. is. Production photos of the actors are permitted but they must relate to the show in some way (example: the actor is in costume or on set). In general, be respectful of the Cast and Crew. This includes rumors about their personal life or acquaintances.

No real person fiction (RPF), please.

On Drama Dumps/Clickbait.

No posts or links are allowed that directly attacks an individual, is clickbait, or intentionally inflammatory. Posts with the intention of engaging in a good faith conversation with the fandom here are allowed. Blocking the subreddit Mods is an automatic cause for a Ban

AI Content is Not Allowed.

Any post, video or picture that was done using AI as the primary source is not allowed.

Content From X.

Direct links to X/Twitter are not allowed. If sharing content from X, please post a screenshot which gives proper credit to the original poster and send a direct link to the content to the Mod Team so its authenticity can be verified. Without modmailing a link, your post or comment may be removed. Sharing altered content may result in a ban.

On Fan Works and Self-Promotion.

Long form fan made original content can be posted on any day of the week and is not subject to Rules 4 and 8. Anyone interested in promoting their media channels (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.) are asked to contact the mods for approval.

No Discord, private servers, forums or other private socials are allowed.

No posts directly selling merchandise are allowed.

Hate Speech is Not Allowed.

Racism, homophobia, sexism, or bigotry of any kind will lead to a ban.

On Meta Posts.

Only 1 Meta Post is allowed per day. Mods reserve the right to remove posts and threads in posts that lead to repetitive/unproductive/hostile discussions at their discretion.

“Meta” may refer to, but is not limited to, discussions about the fandom, etc.

No Division Between Fans.

This is a place for all IWTV fans, whether you like the show, the books or the movie. Disrespect, hostility, or negativity directed at others for liking a different adaptation, a different ship, or a different character will not be tolerated. This also includes gatekeeping or making differences between newer or older fans.

Differences in opinion are not an excuse for hate.
