Moderation and Community Rules

• Moderators are not responsible for any scams or fraudulent activities that may occur. Always exercise caution and use common sense when dealing with others.
• Accounts less than 30 days old or with very low karma (<50) will be restricted from posting (Automod already handles this).
• Users should report suspicious activity, scams, or rule violations via Reddit’s report system or by messaging the moderators.
• Include screenshots or links when reporting to help mods investigate efficiently.

Use Original Photos with Timestamps

• Listings must include a clear photo of the item with a piece of paper showing: Your Reddit username, the current date and time. Posts without a proper timestamp photo will be removed. This ensures the item is authentic and currently in your possession.
• Use original photos clicked by you. Do not use pictures collected from Google or other sources.
• For physical vouchers please do the same for virtual vouchers, add a screenshot by masking details
• Posts breaking this rule will be removed

Provide a detailed description along with price

• Provide a detailed description of the item, including its condition, age, and any defects or damages and the reason for selling.
• Clearly state the price you are asking for in the post. Be open to negotiation in the comments. don't ask buyers to come to the DMs to know the price.

No Personal Information should be shared openly.

Do not share personal information such as phone numbers or home addresses in the post. Use PMs for such details.

Verified Sellers

• Users who have successfully completed multiple transactions and followed all subreddit rules may receive a Verified Seller/Buyer flair.
• The flair helps other members identify trusted and reliable users.
• Verified status does not guarantee item authenticity or safety — always follow safety guidelines when completing a transaction.
• Moderators reserve the right to remove the flair if rules are violated.

No Off-Topic Posts

Keep posts relevant to buying and selling in Hyderabad. Off-topic posts will be removed.

No Spam.

Avoid posting multiple copies of the same item. Duplicate posts will be removed by the Moderators.

No Scams.

Do not post or engage in any scams or fraudulent activities. Such posts will be removed and the users will be banned immediately.

Thoroughly check the condition of the item before purchasing.

You can discuss the item's condition in either comment section or DMs to ensure transparency.

Safety & Payment

• Prefer COD (Cash on Delivery)
• If COD is not possible, use secure payment methods after verifying the item.
• Meet in public places only. Avoid sharing home addresses publicly.
• Check the item thoroughly: test electronics, inspect for damage, verify authenticity.
• For high-value items, provide proof of ownership (bill, serial number, box).
• Avoid red flags: urgent payment requests, shipping-only deals, or DM-only

No ghosting after confirming a meetup.

• Once both parties have agreed on a time and place to complete a sale or purchase, backing out without any communication ("ghosting") is not allowed. Please respect each other’s time and commitment.
• Leave honest feedback after completing transactions.

Miscellaneous

No External Linking for Deals: Prohibit linking to OLX/FB Marketplace posts to avoid off-reddit scams.

No Voucher/giftcard/coupon/subscription/ticket Posts (Until Further Notice)

To maintain a safe trading environment, voucher/gift card/coupon/tickets/subscriptions buying or selling is not allowed until further notice.

Please refrain from posting or commenting about vouchers during this period. Violations may result in removal or ban.
