Civility

This is a community of fans of the comic book franchise Green Lantern. It is intended to be a safe space and an environment of mutual respect. As such, all members will be treated with dignity and respect.

• Do Not Practice Bigotry or Hate Speech.
• No political comments.
• Personal attacks, insults and trolling will not be tolerated.
• Repeated violations will result in a permanent ban.
• If unclear, please review site-wide Reddiquette

No Spoilers

• Anything that happened in the last 6 months is deemed a spoiler.
• A post with spoilers must be tagged with the flair named "Spoilers for movies and TV shows".
• The title of your post must be ambiguous and cannot have the spoiler in it.
• Images that spoil the surprise must have the spoiler tag attached to the post/image.
• Spoiler posts without the flair and/or with spoilers explicitly in the title will be deleted, and may lead to being banned.

No Piracy

• Discussion of piracy websites (including sharing links to piracy websites) is not allowed.
• Sharing images with piracy watermarks is also not allowed.
• Comic Excerpts should strive to be limited to 3 pages max. Exceptions to the excerpt limit may be provided but continuously breaking this rule is not allowed.
• Splitting the post in order to submit multiple images is not allowed.
• AI art (full or assisted) is strictly not allowed.

Image Sourcing / No AI art.

• Comic Book-related images must have the title and issue of the book OR the artist credited.
• Cosplay must have the name of the cosplayer credited.
• OP must identify the source as an edit or comment if a post is made without the source.
• "Where is this from"-type of posts are allowed but excessive use of this is not. Before making a post like this, please consider using Google Reverse Image Search to find the source.

Stay On Topic

Posts must be directly related to Green Lantern and associated comic book franchises. Posts that don't involve Green Lantern characters, mythos, creators, or concepts will be removed.

Repeated violations will be treated with temporary banning.

No Selling, Spam or Self-Promotion

• All posters should strive to be active members of this sub. People who spam things like their YouTube channel but do not participate in discussions may be banned.
• A few legacy Content Creators have been identified as friends of this sub. Those users have been given the unique user flair "Approved Content Creator" and are subject to a bit more leniency than others due to their past history.
• Avoid posting low effort content. Repeated posts within a short timeframe will be viewed as spam.
