No Usernames or Personal Information

All usernames and personal information, including your own, must be FULLY censored in screenshots and not shared in comments. This includes: Depop/social media usernames, profile pictures/users faces, real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, tracking numbers, zip codes/postcodes etc.

Users breaking this rule will be temporarily banned (do NOT use r/depoop in an attempt to circumvent this ban, you will be banned there as well!). Users who post doxxing material will be permanently banned.

No Advertising or Solicitation

Advertising of any form or trying to sell your items isn't allowed here. Doing so will result in a ban.

Solicitation is disallowed too. Don't ask for usernames or shop/item links for whatever reason. This will result in a temp or perma ban depending on circumstances.

ISO/Find fashion posts don't belong here either. Refer to r/findfashion.

No Uncivil Discussions

This community has zero tolerance for insults, personal attacks, hate speech, threats, trolling, being purposly unhelpful or any sort of rude comments. Doing such may result in a ban depending on severity.

If you see these comments, don't engage, and just report. Engaging with these comments and breaking the same rules will result in a warning or ban. Don't feed the trolls.

Repeated FAQ & Topics

Please read our FAQ before posting. Posts that are answered in there, or questions/topics that are frequent enough that they can be easily found in the search bar, will be removed.

Scams

Posts that are answered in our Scams Masterlist will be removed. We recommend using r/Scams as well.

Do not post links, websites or emails associated with scams or scammers.

No Harassment

No matter what the post is about, we thoroughly believe the problem is between the buyer, seller and Depop. We do not condone anyone here reaching out to users on Depop to message, harass, troll, mass report or bully them, or users encouraging others to do such behaviours. Participating in or encouraging harassment will result in a permanent ban.

No Bad/Joke Listings or Offers

Bad/joke listings and lowball offers are a common occurrence and screenshots of such do not belong here, they belong on r/depoop. "Bad" or ”joke” listings includes listings involving dropshippers, overpricing, bad photos, weird items and so on.

Shop Critique and Item Help Requests Belong in the Monthly Thread

We have a monthly thread for requests for shop critiques or help with an item (such as clothing I.D, pricing/description help, help with shop sales etc.) It can be found by viewing the pinned posts at the top of the sub, or searching "monthly thread" in the subreddit search bar. Posting outside the thread will result in a removal.

No Illegal or TOS Breaking Activities

Any comment or post discussing illegal activities or breaking Depop TOS will be removed. This includes: selling fakes, buying accounts, being a dropshipper, trying to get around a Depop ban, fraud and so on.

Anyone participating in or encouraging others to do those activities will be permanently banned.

Users active in subreddit's promoting counterfeit selling or dropshipping are subject to a permanent ban.

No Authentication Requests

Please use r/LegitCheck or the dedicated subreddit for the brand you wish to authenticate.

Keep It Related to Depop

Posts and comments must be about buying or selling on Depop only. Promotion of, discussions about or inquiries related to other selling sites will be removed. Please use the dedicated subreddits for those sites.

Low Effort Posts

Posts with lack of information/context will be removed. This is a support subreddit, so other users wanting to help need as much info and context as possible.

AMA's, Surveys, App Extensions, Similar Apps etc.

For users who'd like answers to surveys they've made, please message the mod team before posting so we can go over it. You're allowed to post this survery ONCE after approval.

Promotion of your own apps, app tolls, app extensions, or hosting your own AMA's aren't allowed.
