Mods must follow the IP guidelines

• Mods must be distributed for free.
• Mods that are distributed on any first-party platform (Steam, GameJolt, itch.io, etc.) must comply with all IPG requirements.
• DDLC assets may not be used in standalone games.
• Mods must state they are unaffiliated with DDLC and have a link to the original game.
• Mods must not be distributed as complete games with executables.

Tag mod spoilers in the posts/comments.

No spoilers in post titles. Posts/comments should tag any spoilers for mods. For comment spoilers, put `>!Just Monika!<` and get >!Just Monika!<

Tag NSFW mods/posts

If your mod contains any NSFW/lewd content, tag it as such. In regards to DMs between /r/DDLCMods users, if you are underage and someone is attempting to contact you with NSFW content, please report them to Reddit staff and Reddit immediately at https://www.reddit.com/report

Posts must be related to DDLC modding, and artwork posted must be related to a mod

This is a subreddit about modding DDLC, so all posts should somehow relate to mods or modding DDLC. General DDLC posts are better suited for r/DDLC.

All artwork posted must be used to specifically tease or showcase a mod, and must not be posted randomly. This can also be done at r/DDLC.

Addendum: We will be keeping an eye on DDLC+ posts that are unrelated to modding. We know that everyone's excited, but "I LOVE DDLC+" posts, while amusing, are counterproductive to the subreddit's goals.

Artwork must be original/used with permission/credited

All artwork posted or used in a mod must either be created by the OP, or the OP must have permission to use the specific artwork from the artist. In the case where the OP did not create the art, credit must be given to the original artist.

Do not share mods that have been banned

Do not endorse or share any mods on this list. Discussion of banned mods is allowed, as long as it doesn't include providing links or requesting links to the mods, posting videos of the mods being played, or otherwise suggesting people play them.

Please note that simply endorsing one of these mods is not, by itself, grounds for a ban; but repeated/specific efforts to skirt this rule and/or subvert it will not be looked upon fondly.

"Let's Play" video posts must include the title of the mod in the subject line.

This community is about promoting the work of mod creators, not the Youtube or Twitch channels of the people playing the mods. LP posts without the title of the mod come across as spam, and will therefore be removed.

Regarding ARG-style Posts

ARG posts must have a plain English title that refers to the mod it is related to, and there should not be a post related to said ARG more than once every three days (additional information can be made as a comment on the latest post). Using an ARG to sidestep one of the other rules will be treated as both a violation of that rule AND an attempt to avoid punishment for said rule. Posting an unsolvable mess as an ARG will be treated as both spam AND an attempt to avoid punishment for spam.
