No Sneakers
Sneakers don't fit our identity. You have plenty of other subs to talk about sneakers. Exceptions may be made for the niche brands that form the core of our subs - that doesn't include Air Jordans or LV Trainers, just so we're clear.
QC posts: Please respond with GL/RL
We work together with glfinder.com. Starting your review with GL/RL makes it easy to understand the sentiment. This will improve the sub.
Sellers: Follow the advertising rules
All advertisement or self-promotion MUST be approved by moderators and/or include the appropriate flairs, otherwise you will be banned. This is a counter-measure put into place to prevent sellers from spamming the subreddit, we don't want there to be hundreds of sellers doing so. Therefore, we regulate when sellers get to post and how often they get to post to prevent the subreddit from being filled with sellers posts.
Sellers: Use official accounts
You can only use one account and it must be clear that you are a seller. The account must include some link in the bio. If you don't want to do that, ask us to flair your account. Throwaway accounts are not allowed and will lead to an instant ban.
Sellers: Prices must be provided
We want a transparent and scam-free environment. When asked for the price, it has to be provided. Do not ask users to message you for prices.
Sellers: Max 2 posts per week
Max: 1 post per day, 2 posts per week. Different rules can be instated on a personal basis, depending on whether the community wants to see more or less of you.
No Spreadsheets
The majority of spreadsheets are low quality and copied and pasted. Because people get paid, there's an incentive to make more and spam more with more fake accounts, unless we step in and actively ban the accounts that make them.
You may apply for an exception if you have a high quality, unique spreadsheet.
This rule extends to websites that are functionally spreadsheets.
Disclose Paid Reviews
Use the PAID REVIEW flair to disclose your review as a paid review. It's easy to tell when reviews are paid. Receiving discounts or commissions also makes your review a paid review. References to your discount code also turn your review into a paid review. Disregard for this rule will lead to an instant, permanent ban.
No fake reviews
Making false statements about the quality or attributes of an item will lead to an instant, permanent ban.
