r/ColdWarPosters Subreddit Rules
All posters must have been created during and have relevance to the Cold War.
Any post with no source, or cannot be found in a reverse image search, will be removed.
A link to a source is not required when posting, but if the authenticity of a poster is questioned, you may be asked to provide your source.
After submitting, please add link flair indicating the country in which the poster was produced.
Whenever possible, please provide the year the poster was produced.
NSFW posters must be labeled accordingly.
Do not post an image that was posted within the last 60 days.
Bigoted/hatful comments will not be tolerated.
This includes bigotry towards individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality, religion, age, or physical, mental, or intellectual ability. (Cold War era posters with a bigoted message are permitted.) Such comments will result in a warning on the first offense and a ban on the second offense.
Flaming, trolling, spam, and off topic comments may be removed.
Do not complain about reposts in the comment section of a link.
This is a subreddit dedicated to posters created, produced, and distributed decades ago, so none of the content on here is original. That being said, we do have a rule against posting a duplicate of an image posted within the last 60 days. If you see a duplicate of a recent post, please report the image rather than starting an argument in the comment section.
