Hate speech, extremism, or nationalism

We have zero tolerance for content that promotes hatred, extreme ideologies, or aggressive nationalism. This includes but is not limited to content that advocates violence or superiority based on identity, promotes extremist viewpoints, or encourages divisive nationalist rhetoric that demeans other groups. We strive to maintain a community where all members feel welcome and safe.

Racism, Xenophobia, or Discrimination

Content that expresses prejudice, bias, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited. This includes both overt discrimination and subtle forms of prejudice such as stereotyping, discriminatory jokes, or biased generalizations. Our community values diversity and inclusivity.

Threats, Harassment, or Personal Attacks

We do not allow any form of targeted harassment, intimidation, or personal attacks. This includes direct threats, doxxing, stalking behavior, encouraging others to harass members, sustained antagonistic behavior, or malicious personal criticism. Disagreements should be expressed respectfully and focus on ideas rather than individuals. This applies to interactions with both community members and moderators.

Illegal Content or Harmful Discussions

Any content that violates local, national, or international laws is strictly forbidden. This includes sharing illegal materials, promoting illegal activities, or discussions that could create legal liability for the community. We also prohibit content that, while technically legal, could reasonably lead to harm if misused. Members are expected to exercise good judgment and consider the potential consequences of their posts.

Spam, Self-Promotion, and Advertising

Commercial promotion, repetitive posting, referral links, and excessive self-promotion are not allowed. While sharing relevant original content is welcome, it should be balanced with other community participation. Any promotional content must be clearly labeled and follow our specific self-promotion guidelines. Bot activity and automated posting are prohibited.

Misinformation and Unverified Claims

Deliberately spreading false information, conspiracy theories, or unverified claims that could cause harm is prohibited. Posts making significant claims should include credible sources. While we encourage open discussion, we prioritize factual accuracy and may remove content that promotes dangerous misinformation, particularly regarding public health, safety, or civic processes.

Privacy and Personal Information

Sharing private or personal information about any individual without their explicit consent is strictly forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, workplaces, or any other identifying information. Screenshots or social media posts must have personal information redacted.

Duplicate Posts and Low-Quality Content

Repeated posts about the same topic, low-effort content, and submissions that don't contribute meaningfully to discussion may be removed. This includes empty posts, clickbait titles, or content that could be shared in existing threads. Users should search for similar posts before creating new ones.

Cross-posting and Brigading

Organizing or participating in cross-subreddit harassment campaigns or "brigading" is prohibited. While cross-posting content is allowed when relevant, it should not be done to manipulate voting or encourage harassment. Users should respect other communities' rules and cultures.
