Be civil and respectful to all members
Being civil and respectful is not only expected here it is required! Calling out others, name calling, bullying commentswill get or posts will be removed and the offenders banned There are no exceptions to this rule. If several parties get in an altercation all parties will be disciplined
Post proper photos
Your port may be removed if it lacks the necessary photos (OR photos are missing altogether). When seeking information about a bottle, include the following:
- A whole shot showing shape and color. Try to include something for scale if possible.
- A photo of the bottom of the bottle to show any pontil marks, suction marks, or maker's mark.
- A photo of the seam, and how far up the neck it goes.
- A photo of the mouth/opening.
No plastic bottles
This sub is meant for antique glass. While we often allow other objects to be posted found in bottle dumps, we do not allow modern plastic bottles to be posted. Any posts about plastic bottles will be removed.
Post original content
Please do not post photos or media that do not belong to you or you do not have explicit permission to post.
No political or religious discussions allowed
Discussions about religious or political viewpoints are not allowed as they are not relevant to this sub. You will be banned if this rule is broken more than once.
Post Volume
Please limit your posts to 1-2 per day. If you make a series of posts in a short period of time, you may have some of them removed. Feel free to re-post the removed posts another day in the future.
